The Thomond Village development consisted of three residential blocks comprising 106 apartments with a total of 503 bedrooms.
The scheme was the first development on the University of Limerick’s North Campus located across the river Shannon from the main campus. The buildings structure is steel framed with precast concrete floor slabs and in-situ concrete shafts. The internal leaf of the external walls consist of timber framed panels with insulation infill.
The external façade comprised of vertical overboarded Western Red Cedar cladding with Vertical and horizontal Zinc cladding together with an Aluminium standing seam roof.
All apartments were fully fitted out including loose furniture / white goods etc
